Information for C-1 filers

For the most comprehensive information on Who Should File, When to File, What to Disclose, etc. please download the Statement of Financial Interests C-1 Guide which can be found under the section Handbook Guides on our Publications page
https://nadc.nebraska.gov/publications.

Online Filing

Statements of Financial Interests (Form C-1) can now be filed online.  Online filing will not allow you to make mistakes that cause a filing to not be accepted or require amendment prior to full acceptance.  Filing online is highly recommended for anyone who will file Form C-1 again next year.  The first time filing online should take about as much time as it would to fill out a paper copy but the system will save your entered information to be automatically included or easily updated in the following years filings when you have to file again.  After the first time, subsequent filings should take less than 5 minutes to submit.

For new C-1 filers who have never filed a C-1 (on paper or online) before, please download the C-1 First Time Filers e-File Guide which can be found under the section Electronic Filing Guides on our Publications page  https://nadc.nebraska.gov/publications.

For previous C-1 filers who filed online or on paper last year, please download the C-1 Previous C-1 Filers e-File Guide which can be found under the section Electronic Filing Guides on our Publications page https://nadc.nebraska.gov/publications.

Paper Filing

Paper C-1 Forms can be found here on our Forms page

Remember it is like a tax return and must cover the previous year.  Also note that every Item must be filled in or marked None and that Item 6 must include all forms of income over $1,000 which could include your government job among other sources.
