On April 15, 2026, Governor Jim Pillen signed LB1075 into law.
LB1075 included updates to the late filing fees imposed by our office. Effective April 16, 2026, all late filing fees have doubled. Furthermore, Forms C and CC filed by Principals of Lobbyists will now be assessed late filing fees. Our office will assess the new late filing fee amounts on any filing that is due on or after April 16, 2026.
LB1075 also included an update to the registration fee for new committees who file a Statement of Organization (NADC Form A-1) with our office. The new fee is $150, an increase from the previous fee of $100. Our office will require the new registration fee on any Statement of Organization (NADC Form A-1) that is voluntarily filed or becomes due, on or after April 16, 2026.
